Creating A Memory That Last's A Life Time

Having Your Wedding Filmed
My style of filming and what to expect

I have my own unique style of filming weddings — it might sound a little unconventional, but my goal is to show you the moments you missed or may not remember. Wedding days go extremely fast, and being caught up in the “wedding day bubble” means you’re bound to miss a few things.

That’s where my wedding films come in — capturing not just you, but also your guests, the atmosphere, the sounds, and all the fun.

My wedding films are not just musical montages — they’re mini documentaries: the full story of your day from start to finish.

I’ve spent many years filming current affairs, which you might not think ties in with wedding filmmaking — but it’s all about storytelling through the power of visuals and sound.

That’s exactly what I bring to your wedding film.

Not only will I capture you on the best day of your life, I’ll also capture your guests, your loved ones, and your friends — all enjoying the celebration. I’ll even speak with some of them and collect short video messages (vox pops) to include in your film.

Like I said, it’s not just about seeing your day — it’s about hearing it too.

Wedding Guest Vox Pops

One of my absolute favorite parts of the wedding day is filming video messages from your guests — you know, the “congratulations!” and “here’s some advice for married life” kind of stuff.

I usually save this part for later in the evening, once everyone’s had a few drinks, kicked off their shoes, and really settled into the celebration.

That’s when the best stuff happens — when people are relaxed, happy, and completely themselves.

These little clips, often called vox pops, are honestly such a special part of your final film.

It’s a chance for your closest friends and family to speak directly to you — to share their love, their wisdom and sometimes even a few emotional words they didn’t get to say during the day.

When you look back at your wedding film, hearing those voices and seeing those faces — maybe some you haven’t seen in a while or people who came from far away to celebrate with you — it just hits differently. It becomes more than just a highlight reel; it becomes a time capsule.

And don’t worry, I don’t make it awkward or staged. I keep it super relaxed and fun — most guests actually love doing it once they know what it’s for. Plus, it’s all included in every one of my wedding packages. It’s just another way I make sure your film feels real and personal

The Champange Montage

One of the little things I love adding to your wedding film is what I like to call “The Champagne Montage.” It’s a fun, creative moment that always ends up being a guest favorite — and honestly, it looks amazing in the final film.

Here’s how it works: while you’re off getting your couples’ photos taken (which is the perfect time, by the way, because your guests are usually mingling and soaking up the vibes), I go on a mini mission with my camera and a champagne flute.

Yep — I literally clamp a glass of bubbly to the front of my camera and make my way around the party, getting your guests to give it a celebratory cheers as I film.

The glass stays center frame the whole time and moves with the camera — kind of like you're seeing the moment through the eyes of your guests. It creates this really cool, immersive, “guest POV” style shot that captures all the fun and personality of your people just being themselves, celebrating you.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

THE MAIN FILM

Your main video will be 5 to 10 minutes long, showcasing your wedding day with music of your choice. Featured in this film: bridal party and groomsmen getting ready, guests arriving for the ceremony, ceremony highlights, bride and groom reception arrival, guests at the reception, speech highlights, champagne glass POV montage, and guest vox pop highlights. Note: every wedding is different and this is subject to change.

THE CEREMONY

This video is a locked-off static shot of your ceremony.

I do this as a keepsake for you to enjoy. This is an unedited video (unlike your main wedding film) with no music, just the audio captured from the ceremony. I provide this for my couples so they can look back and reminisce. This is usually filmed with one extra camera on a tripod from the back of the ceremony.

THE CHAMPANGE MONTAGE

This is a fun one! As described above, I attach a champagne flute to the camera and get your guests to interact with it. I have your guests clink their glasses and share a very quick congratulations or message of love to you. This will be included in your main film, as well as a separate video file for you to look back on.

THE SPEECHES

This is very similar to the ceremony. This video is a locked-off shot of the speeches. Included in your main wedding film is a short highlight of some of the speeches, but this video is an unedited version of your speeches for you to look back on.

GUEST VOX POPS

This is another fun one! As the evening progresses, I like to grab a microphone and get your wedding guests to leave you a congrats, well wishes, or any advice for the future video message. This is also included in the main film as a short highlight, but in this separate video, you will get a full montage. This is not set to music—this is for you to watch your loved ones and friends on your special day.
